This course meets once a week, consisting of 40 minutes of instructional skating and 10 minutes of practice time on the ice.
Fees include ALL fees and rentals and also includes a USFSA badge for levels completed. Family Discounts (3 or more skaters) are available.
The Basic Skills course is intended for ages 4 and up but we also offer tot classes for the younger set.
All skaters are evaluated at the end of each session. Sometimes skaters are changed into other classes during a session to best meet each skater's ability.
At the conclusion of the session, your skater may not pass to the next level. This is common, especially at the higher levels.
To help your skater improve, you can bring them to public skate to practice, take advantage of our Family Discounts for additional days of instruction, hire a private coach, and encourage them to practice their elements during free skate.
There will be no more than 10 skaters per group and levels may be combined or cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
There is a NO Make-Up Policy for our learn to skate classes.
